provide you with some information to prepare for your job interview so that you can

This video is just part of a series of activities designed to make Ampliación students aware of the most common steps to get a job.
Our main goal is to help them to know and develop the different tools and useful skills needed when looking for a job.
It would start with a description of the process: finding a job advert in a newspaper or on the Internet, writing a CV and a covering letter, filling in an application form, and finally, going to the job interview if they call you.
We would work on both written and oral skills.

1. Warm-up: Brainstorming
What would you do if you had a job interview tomorrow? that is, how would you prepare for the interview?
Guess: What kind of advice do you think she is going to give you?
2. Watch the first part of the video (till 1'25").
According to Caroline, what is the first thing you have to take into account when you go to a job interview? Do you agree with her? Why is the first impression so important?
3. Typical questions in job interviews. Make a checklist.
Pair-work: eliciting possible questions in a job interview.
For each question listed before, what is the best answer?
4. Watch the rest of the video and see if she mentions some of the questions you have guessed.
5. Make a list with all the tips she recommends to follow.
6. Meet in groups of three students. Two of you are the interview panel and the other student is the interviewee. Roleplay a job interview.
