This blog started as a task for the course Gestión de recursos web y elementos multimedia en lenguas extranjeras.
Its main aim is to offer Bachillerato students of Ampliación de Inglés a new resource for cooperative learning in the English classes.
 I hope they learn more English and share what they know with their classmates. 
 It will help students to develop mainly oral (listening and speaking) skills, but written skills (reading and writing) will also be taken into account.Cultural issues will be the most important part of this blog.

In Getting to grips with English you are going to find:
- Culture tips: curiosities about English-speaking countries, festivities, literature, etc.
- Multimedia resources: videos, pictures, audio materials.  
- Webquests and interactive activities, games...  
- Websites: links to useful and interesting websites, on-line dictionaries, etc. 
- Grammar notes and exercises, etc.
